Pianist Tianhong Yang has made her solo appearances actively in a number of prestigious festivals and venues across Europe, Asia, and the USA throughout her performing career. Yang made her UK debut in 2010 at the St. David’s Hall, Cardiff, performing Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto, Op.37, under the direction of Maestro David Jones. 

Yang has performed in many prestigious venues throughout Europe. Among them were Desingle in Antwerp, Belgium; BBC Hoddinott Hall in Cardiff, UK; Auditorio Sony in Madrid, Spain. She collaborated regularly with Antwerp Camerata, in 2017 she was invited as a guest artist and performed at Klara festival in Belgium. In addition to her performance appearances, Yang was invited to perform in numerous music festivals around the world, among the others, The Art of Piano Festival, Imuse Festival, and Hanoi International Piano Festival. 

Being a diverse musician of the 21st century, Yang actively promotes contemporary music in her performing career. In 2016, she premiered Sonata for Violin and Piano by Daniel Davis In collaboration with violinist Filipe Abreu, and their performance was recorded by RTP Portugal. 

As the founders of Aroma Duo, Tianhong Yang and Johnny Mok have been working with composers performing their latest work, aiming to bring awareness and new perspective to their audiences. Aroma Duo has featured as guest artists in numerous chamber music series such as Cape Ann Symphony Orchestra, Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra, and Weston Library concert series. Yang currently serves as adjunct faculty in piano at Plymouth State University.
